I thought that was a nice gesture. In isolation, 1 of our more popular players and someone who has given 100% the whole time he has been here, after an injury like the 1 he had, it was the right thing to do. It gave him peace of mind to rehabilitate from a terrible injury without having to worry about things. He's an ambassador for the club, and unlike Baines, never downed tools to get rid of someone he didn't like.
There's been plenty of things to criticise Kenwright for in the past, but giving Coleman that contract was not 1 of them.
