CRIMHEAD
Player Valuation: £40m
He's fast enough to exploit space. There is a lot more time and space in MLS. But Baines wouldn't be effective at all. He's too slow and his skills have eroded tremendously. The league is worse than i feared

yep...Blue Bill's luvvy duvvy mitts all over that 'heart over head' bit of business,Stank of Kenwright that daft decision.
I'd give him a new contract: 30 pieces of silver.
Best Everton player in the no trophy era, @ me
20 pieces then.Too much.
IF Digne still out give Robinson a chance.
20 pieces then.
You mean Anthonee Robinson on loan at Wigan?!
Should be recalled.
People keep saying this but we have literally no evidence whatsoever that it's the case. Seriously, none. I don't know where this view of Brands as some all powerful figure who has everyone else bending to his will has come from, our biggest signing was someone who used to play for the manager, that's a pretty big hint that he has at least some involvement in this type of thing.Did I miss something? Where did Brands say he was getting a new contract? Did I not just listen to Silva say they might get the chance of a renewal? A manager that won’t be in charge of those decisions whatsoever?

Yeah I agree, but firstly that still means Silva is involved, so if he says 'I really want player X to get a new contract' there's a decent chance he will be listened to, and secondly what we would like to think happens and what actually happens are often two completely different things at Everton. All I mean is I've seen it quite a lot 'Brands will do this, Brands won't allow that' when we've genuinely got no idea.If the DOF isn’t in charge of contracts then I see no reason to have one. I’m sure Silva is consulted but I’d hope the final decision is always down to the DOF and the project of the club.
