Player Valuation: £8m
Would you feel better if he was moved up to the midfield? I feel like he could move up there and make room for someone else at left back. I love the guy but I don't want to lose him on the team.

Comfortable for Arsenal? With how the team has been playing I can't see us winning our next few games. Arsenal has been on top of their game as of late and we have no chemistry. We have pieces to make a good team but if the pieces don't fit and work together you're going to have a bad time.yes. If asked to select a PL 1st XI, the first names that most would pick would be Bainsey and Seamus as that team's fullbacks. I reckon not many others in our team (other than perhaps Barkley and Rom) would make the cut.
But 4 players from Everton in a PL 1st XI is not to be sneezed at.
If RK can get our other stars (i.e. Mirallas, McCarthy, Lennon maybe) to shine, I'm confident we'll scoot up the table.
I'm feeling very positive, and reckon things will turn about vs Arsenal.
Should be a comfortable win...
Captain Jags' drop in form is the only caveat I have in predicting a comfortable win. He needs to be in the team. We need his leadership...on form, there is no back division in the PL better than Seamus, Mori, Jags and Bainsey.Comfortable for Arsenal? Unfortunately you're chatting wham, with all due respect. Baines would definitely have been in most neutral fans' starting XIs up to, say, two years ago, but never in a million years would he be in many teams now. Not a slur on him; he's had lots of injuries and they have taken their toll on him. It's a shame but that's the way it is.yes. I am in no way saying in any matter of the sort that Oviedo should be playing lb or anywhere on this team. I would trade him to another team for their washing machine... bring in someone new.No leave him at LB, Oviedo is crap
Some people complain we are in this terrible run of form but would still back Baines. Anyone seeing him jogging back toward his own box when we're under attack surely must see he's a liability and costing us.
His only role now is to take a spot kick. Not good enough. But no doubt "One Of Uz, lad" will be handed a new contract.
He 'gets us' though mate. I always look forward to this time of year so I can see Bainsey et al do the Blue Chrimbo thing in the community. Some people complain we are in this terrible run of form but would still back Baines. hehehehehe! He 'gets us' though mate. I always look forward to this time of year so I can see Bainsey et al do the Blue Chrimbo thing in the community.
That's what makes me proud to be an Evertonian . Sure, I'd love to win something again in my lifetime, but that is less important to me than seeing the lads 'in the community', making us all proud.
Purely coincidence. The team in those early games were dragged along by the energy of Gueye and a new manager bounce. neither are evident now.Dave Evertons record with him in the team this season is good, who would you play instead of him ?
Exactly. Losers but they do community stuff. He 'gets us' though mate. I always look forward to this time of year so I can see Bainsey et al do the Blue Chrimbo thing in the community.
