Defensively superb last night, in what must have been an immensely difficult game for him against players such as walker who are much quicker than him across the ground.

Seems to be choosing the games in which to play further forward (ie split) and stay further back (last night) much better as he gets older.

Big fan of Keane already but he out of all 3 CB looked most uncomfortable in a back 3 in my opinion. Not sure if it was my telly or summat but he looked like he wasn't at ease passing the ball. Esp to Pickford (needs to work.on his bad foot distro btw but that's another point). When we changed it up he (Keane)looked more settled.

Baines is class btw. FACT.

Think he's started the season very well. I just hope that he won't burn up at some point from having to play every single game due to our lack of cover at left back.
