Ten out of ten for his 25 minutes today. If it hadn't been for unbeleivable saves from Foster he would have had 2 goals and one of them would have been hard to beat for goal of the season.
.agreed mate, the one low down was a superb save from Foster and would have been one of the goals of the season for the movement. That's twice now ( The Mirallas flick shot that Courtois tipped onto the post ) where we have nearly scored an absolute blinder of a goal.

Played very well today.

Suits that roll perfectly because he's an intelligent player. Sits on the bench and reads the game for 60/70 minutes.

When he comes on he knows exactly what to do - whether that's simply keeping hold of the ball more, delaying a pass longer than whoever was on before him or targeting a defender who's playing poorly.

Should be his roll from now on IMO as it negates the fact he runs out of steam and hasn't got pace. A few of our young players such as Besic and Atsu could take a leaf out of his book when it comes to changing a game from the bench by using your brain. He did at Villa away last season, for example, and again today.

I'm not Ossies biggest fan but to be fair to him when he came on he was our best player. Hope Roberto picks up on that and plays him last 20-25 minutes for the rest of the season injuries permitting.

Roberto plays him though lids , always a scapegoat for the fans but the manager we rate above all others plays him quite a lot, again today was good for us, valuable member of the squad

When I seen him coming on I was wondering what Osman we would get. Thankfully we got the Brazilian Osman today and not the featherweight Sunday league player. If only he was consistent.

I've been a big fan of Leon over the years, but he was out of his depth today against Palace.
Putting aside his mistake which led to their third goal, he struggled to get to grips with the game at any time today.

Still got a lot to offer with 20 to 25 minutes to go as a sub, but shouldn't really be starting now, especially against physical sides

He still has a part to play at the club. As a substitute in League Cup games.

Last season he was good for a maximum of 20 minutes per match, I think he may only last 10 minutes now.
