Spot on!! Yesterday was proof (again) that Osman should no longer be starting games! Yesterday the game just passed him by, apart from when he got caught in possession or gave the ball away. The Villa game was an example of how he can be used in future. Coming on when teams are tiring and he has more space and time on the ball he still has a role but as a starter please no more!

Osman misplaced passes and pienaar is so god damn slow he has to stretch on the floor most of the time to get a pass away.

A bit harsh match winner last week for me SP was far worse of a bad bunch a selection error by RM ross Barkley should not have been dropped imo!

As bad of a shocker that McCarthy had, Osman was completely absent. Barkley should have been on before the first half was over.

I'm a fan of Osman, but he should be on the bench when Barkley, McCarthy and Barry are available.

If Osman hadn't started all but one game, including last week vs a big team, when available I'd believe this more readily.
