So Everton this, sod him off as soon as he is gone. We cry about loyalty from players but have none ourselves, fickle as f***.

Be miffed if we move this thread elsewhere, lad spent his entire career working hard for us.

And being utterly crap for 70-80% of it and constantly failing to turn up in the biggest games. Would never have been at any other club anywhere near as long. He deserves nothing, same for Hibbert. Should considers themselves extremely fortunate to have played the majority of their careers in a top half team.

Managers chose him, thats where it stops, the issue should be with Moyes and RM, Ossie gets us and should not be destroyed by or "fans"

Bitters??

Ooooh touchy, insults and vulgarity, not a good example.

who next the loveable Stevie Geeeee? he wore an Everton kit once aswell

Or Robbie fowler, maybe Rushie or Steve Mcmanaman

Let's change the site name to 'its a grand old team we used to support, but turned kopite as soon as we saw the dollar'

Pfffffff...

You really are a strange creature. You whined about the interview at the time and you're still crying about it now.

Given you've made some sh*thousery allegations -let me establish the reality from your warped view.

  • We regularly interview fans from away teams - it's part of our ask the opposition/behind enemy lines feature. We've done this for years, whether text based or media based. Check our soundcloud account for plenty from this season...

  • Jamie Carragher, off his own bat, donated to our Alder Hey charity appeal to get us over the line. From that, we had his contact details.

  • Ahead of a Merseyside Derby at Anfield, we asked several EFC/LFC former players to speak to us. Only Jamie agreed.

  • Money. We never gained, nor did Jamie Carragher. How would we? It was the opposite. This was done at our expense. I, out my own pocket - the same pocket that pays for this platform for you to visit/use - paid a firm £180 for filming and editing;

    upload_2017-9-24_11-34-22.webp
  • Adam paid whatever he did, through travelling - not to mention him having to book a day off work.
  • The interview itself was widely praised. We took an opportunity to stick the boot in a bit, in the "friendly rivalry manner" - we gave him a picture of Demba Ba/Gerrard's slip, asked him to pass it on - but we also got a lot of insight from it - EFC's mentality before games etc, that national media picked up - helping our own exposure. Evertonian's visited/registered to OT on the back of it.
  • Volunteers then, paying themselves to provide some content for free on a platform you use for free. If you don't like it, sound. We seek critical feedback, you cried about it at the time and that's fine - but to continue to bring it up and more importantly, question my/the sites integrity will be challenged.

Thought the interview with Carragher was one of the best bits of content the sites provided for a good whilst myself.

IF people are that butt-hurt by anything not involving an Everton player being on the site, maybe stick it in the world footy thread to sooth their pampers or something?

My 'guess' is that those with an issue about it actually aren't from the City (not slagging them btw), because IMO anyway it's in the nature of bantering with mates who are Koppites which we've all done.

As for the poster slagging you and suggesting Rush, Fowler or McManaman etc for next up, yeah wouldn't mind seeing an interview with any of those lot actually done by an Everton site and an Everton reporter asking them the unfiltered questions.

Made me smile because yeah, we'd definitely speak with them for the reason you've gave.

Unfortunately it's near impossible to manage because typically they don't want to give us the time of day and/or "risk" it with an unorthodox setup. They know we'd look to take the piss/poke fun/wind up because that's part of the whole derby build up.

We'd love to talk to more players for content to the site - I reckon we'd deliver it in a way very different to what our fan base can currently access but find it difficult to get any former players to talk to us.

Well if they played the majority of their careers in a top half team then surely that would make them top half players, right?

My comment about turning kopite was in relation to those players who professed to be Evertonians but then turned kopite to play for LFC.
I in no way questioned Adams integrity or that of GoT.

My feedback was based on the interviewee using his previous allegiance to get air time, which in my opinion is to promote his own media career, in which he often uses to be over zealous in his criticism of EFC to which in some cases even a Red manc puts him right on.

It's your site and as you say, people can take it or leave it, but to some having a kopite, who changes his persona to fit in with whoever, is not somebody that should be given the time of day to.

Guessing you have, but ever tried for Reid or Nevin, both working in a media which now seems to have one eye on realising the rise of fan media etc?

Also, if having a different view and the courage of my convictions makes me a 'strange creature' and a 'whiner' it does limit or discourage free speech.
