And rightfully so. Down to 10 men for the last quarter-hour...Did he give the extra 10%?

No. He gave 10% less (Yes, he made 10% less than sod-all appear possible)

I don't get what some of you are saying you seen last night to say he 'did well'. He was his usual anonymous self.

Couldn't disagree more

You know what Osman's limitations are, but aside from one hospital pass to Baines, he tracked back, kept the ball intelligently and did a job

There are some players, like Osman and Howard, that people will never acknowledge even had a decent game

Osman did fine. Don't want to see him play too often, but he can do a job as a sub in certain games.

That said, I'd be in favour of Barkley getting a rest and Osman playing on Saturday

I thought he was alright when he came on to be fair.

Any alright I mean did nothing spectacularly wrong. Nothing overly impressive either of course but he was the very epitome of ok.

He might've not done owt wrong....but when you don't get involved, you're hardly likely to get anything right, neither. All's he was, was a body on the pitch, imo.

Also, I have seen mountain ranges develop faster than he walks trots runs. I also noticed (And texted a friend who agreed when I told him to notice this exact thing about osman) that when city were in possession, osman was always the furthest from a city player. Always.

This simply HAS to be his last season.

Don't get me wrong I don't think he was completely terrible but there was more than just the one hospital ball. He played 2 other terrible under-hit passes that only had to go ten yards and City intercepted with ease. I wish him well but just at another club for me.

can see why he was brought on, his pace should of caused city real problems.. we just couldnt get him in a one on one, l think his strength in possession and general fashion sense helped us tho

Important to give credit where due - he had a very good game last night.
Thought him coming on for Cleverley would spell the end of us – but he was composed, disciplined, and surprisingly good off the ball which is usually his weakness.

There's a rush on here to defend our weakest link players, then when they're eventually replaced with the clear better alternatives and results pick up, it's as though this was never a problem and the manager's handled it well. No way should this gimp have been on before Lennon or Mirrrallas.

Some people decide before the game how a player does in a game.
Osman is no longer a regular starter, but when brought on last night he played very well.
Every player should be judged on their performances and not on anything else.

No - he didn't. He didn't even have a good game. He was his usual below average self (Which is slightly better than average for him)

Besic and Barry had very good games, were both on the pitch for the full 90, and were still covering more ground at a quicker pace than osman after 80 mins - and osman had only played 35 by then.

I know mate. There'll be talk of keeping him on in a coaching role next, ffs. :(
