Hibbert and Osman himself. Both have been mostly poor/average players throughout their careers (slightly above average on their best days) but have managed to steal a living from the club for over a decade now. Osman has always been a more useful player than Hibbert but that's not saying much quite frankly. Hibbert should have been shown the door in 2009 and Osman in 2012/13. How they've stayed at the club this long under multiple managers and made such massive strides in quality is to me one the world's greatest mysteries. On par with the Zodiac Killer and Stonehenge.
There I nout mysterious about the Zodiac Killer........It's me!!!

I know what you mean but Martinez (with a lot more money to play with) still plays him in that same position now. He did it in our very last game.

Fans may not understand why he plays out wide but it's clear that his managers think it suits him.

Because he gets punted off the ball / run straight through in the centre. Best games hes had for us have been in Barkleys position when he has had a bit of time on the ball as no one bothered to man mark him + against weaker opposition.

On the left side like against City he was dreadful and shouldnt get another game. I could see martinez pit him on to keep the ball but he had no legs and wqs constantly miles away from the opposition defensively....

May as well keep him till his contract expires in the summer though as hes meant to be a big influence in the dressing room...

Not sure i agreed with him coming on vs City but he came on and played well, despite what some have said on here. Got his foot on the ball, played some nice stuff and competed well. Put Baines into trouble with that pass but other than that did well, justified the sub in my eyes.

Terrific little player on his day, scored a fair few goals for us. Personally thought though against city he was so slow, His passing was sluggish and seemed to invite pressure on us rather than lessen it. At that point of the game that sub was almost suicide. Still love the wee man but game time should be extremely limited to much weaker oppos.

Yes he is, hes always arsing about due to him having no legs.

People love to rewrite history.

Not a fan of him off the field and he's well, well past his best. But for years he was one of the most, if not the most, technically gifted players at the club. Was wasted for too long out wide but came alive when he got to play centrally. One of about 3 players in Moyes' tenure to have actual vision and the ability to play through balls. Plus he could leap like a salmon. That goal where he outjumped Kompany springs to mind.

Very true but all good things come to an end eventually.
