Sad to see him play his year. Was way past his sell on date. Helped Moyes correct the ship n his tenure. Technically sound in small spaces but his shooting skills were declining though the years. Still, a great servant that time closed the curtain on.

Rubbish player. Probably had less than 15 genuinely brilliant periods of 90 minutes in his entire career. Did score about 10 good goals, so well done for that. Club jester, definitely not worthy of any money he's earned over the past three or four years. Would have been respected more for dropping down a level and being a key player for a lesser side. Never really rated him as a starter. Maybe was useful as a squad player. A tidy player on his day some years ago. Absolutely useless for last 3. Martinez rated him of course.only 1 England cap? For a reason.

It's mostly a running joke mate.

Thoroughly enjoyed it season before last (I think?) when he was given an extension the day before a game and promptly lashed in an absolute quality strike on the half volley.
