If I had to choose between keeping Ossie or Gibson it would be an easy decision for me- Ossie surely has one last season and would offer more versatility than a guy who is only fit for 2 games a year?!

Think he will go to Rotherham with Stubbs, or Wigan so he doesnt have to move! Would like to have thought he would have been offered some sort of coaching role tho!

My Dad said this to me the other day, something I replied was no there is to be no place for sentimentality at Everton anymore. Big Dunc is there because they are too scared to shoe him out the door. Ronald will bring his own men in , they cant keep anyone as a coach thats never won anything. Experienced yes, but not to the level we are aiming for now. We are entering a new dawn at our great football Club and there is no place for Osman's or Hibbert's I'm still however shocked at Gibson getting another contract but hey ho.

I have a programme here for an 'EvertonX1'(virtually youth team) pre season game at Burscough. Osman played, and the only other 'name' that actually made a (relatively) decent career was Omar Daley...a tall gangly kid with a great turn of pace who up to a couple of years ago was still playing in the Scottish League, after spells, and a good career, in the lower leagues in England. Ossie made it from those days, and has had an excellent and long career at Everton. Derby wanted him when he went on loan there, but he returned to Everton and flourished. Even got an England cap and picked in a couple of squads. Well done Ossie...be proud of your achievement, and good luck for the future. If any of the 'haters' on here have achieved half as much as you in their chosen careers, I'll be very surprised.

Well done Leon, great goals (especially Larissa) and always 100%

your return towards the end of the 2014/2015 season was needed when we were dropping like a stone.

If we'd signed him from say Valencia i'm certain his football brain / ability would've been appreciated more.

Rubbish player. Probably had less than 15 genuinely brilliant periods of 90 minutes in his entire career. Did score about 10 good goals, so well done for that. Club jester, definitely not worthy of any money he's earned over the past three or four years. Would have been respected more for dropping down a level and being a key player for a lesser side. See you Leon.

Some of the idiots posting in this thread gives me cancer.

Thanks, Ossie. Great servant, brilliant technical player who scored some great goals. Good lad as well. If he had a bit more pace and strength he'd be top class.
