Leroy Fer

It all probably depends on how much twente need the money. No one actually knows how the original deal was structured so neither side would look bad if they backed down.

just caught the last bit of his interview on the dutch radio, Munsterman said talks are still ongoing, but he is not optimistic. Says he is happy if Fer stays. The interviewer asked him if it was accurate to say that Twente needed to make a decision by 20:45 CET, he said we don't have to do anything, we've got our own policy.

He sounds like an arrogant [Poor language removed]. No wonder he has a name that everyone just won't forget.

I dont get it? Whats the joke?

Not sure how true it is but being told that Fer is at Manchester Airport. Only time will tell, but thinking this will be off and we will get either a defender or striker on loan and no midfield player at all.

People who watch the belgian league [i don't know if you do yourself, If so you'd have a better opinion than me on the situation] Say he's been terrible this season, Overweight, Lazy and overall bad, I just get the feeling he wouldnt be that good.

I do watch it, and yes you're right

If Fer doesn't happen I'm more than confident we've got at least 2 more targets to look at

He's trying to do what's best for his club and we are trying to squeeze him with a time limit. He has every right to be stubborn.
It's pretty obvious that this is just typical haggling with both sides making statements to the press to try and create leverage for themselves.

Really the only thing you can take at face value from what's going on now is that talks are still taking place. That says both sides are still interested in getting a deal done.

He must be coming back over here then, cause he flew back to Holland yesterday Evening. Plus, he is more likely to be landing in Liverpool. I would've thought.
