It would be embarrassing for all concerned if he came back.
How so? Take the emotion out of it, we got fantastic money for him and it was great business from our end. He was never worth that amount.
Imagine where we would be now with that coin?
No club is going to pay Lescott the money he is on now and we already know he plays well alongside Jags.
Heitinga out Lescott in.
'Hitler was a really sound lad, if you take out the holocaust thing'.
We might as well say we'd take Suarez as well. Lescott is a very good defender but he took a s**t on us as soon as he smelled a bigger pay packet (City were not in contention for titles when he left), and his performance at Arsenal was a disgrace. He thought he was better than us then, and he probably thinks he's better than us now. I don't care how good him and Jags would be, i'd never want to see him play for Everton ever again.
And i won't, because he'd never come here, and Moyes would never have him back. Sometimes it's good to have a manager with principles.
Oh, and the amount of money we got for him is irrelevant. He didn't ask to leave and kick up a fuss because he knew we'd get a big wedge for him, his actions were completely selfish. Take a look at a certain afro'd Belgian for how to handle interest from big clubs.
Weak.
Lets see how Fellaini handles himself when a big club actually makes an offer... and Modric shat on Spurs etc etc.. this list goes on.
If a competitor offered your employer compensation well above market value for your services, as well as a pot of gold for you and your family, would you try to force there hand?
Welcome to the real world.

Really?
How's Steven Pienaar?
Really?
How's Steven Pienaar?
I wouldn't walk into work and sit on the floor screaming like a baby until my manager agreed to let me go. That's what Lescott did.
You have a strange definition of the 'real world' if you think everybody acts with total contempt for their current employer as soon as somebody offers them more money. And please, comparing the average person getting a raise to Lescott going from being rich to even more rich isn't the same thing at all.
He acted like a total bel end, i don't hold a grudge against him for it, but i also have zero respect for him and wouldn't want to see him playing for Everton.
And 'Weak' ? Give over.
The point I'm making is it's all relevant. He didn't try to force our hand on the back of a bad transfer fee. We got looked after for the investment we made in him and in turn he did what most would try and do, which is whats' best for you and your family.
He doesn't force the deal through. Hughes gets sack Mancini comes in and that's that. Opportunity lost.
I must have missed the part where Pienaar handed in a transfer request, and totally gave up and allowed Arsenal to stick six goals past us.
It's sad when people compare the situations, one player stuck to his contract and went when the club allowed him to. The other kicked up a fuss and forced the move when Moyes was happy to keep him.
