…no, Matey, working here with Dyche and the coaches and training with established professionals is his chance.

if he goes on loan it’s because Dyche doesn’t want access to him. He’ll be leapfrogged.
It’s better for him to go abroad and start every game than sit on the bench here and come on in the last 5 minutes. He isn’t going to displace Harrison or Dwight. Perhaps next season he can fill the Harrison role if the cash is tight and we can’t bring in another winger but if that’s the case wouldn’t you agree it’s better for him to go abroad to get more minutes because as it stands he is not good enough to start (I think he’s a good player still with a lot of potential but not yet ready)

…..going on loan isn’t a ‘La La Land’. I guarantee that Dobbin going to a foreign country and competitive league will struggle to ‘start every game’. His manager will be under pressure for points, he wont select players who don’t deliver. Players struggle on loan.

I like Dobbin, I highlighted him 2 years ago on here but I know the gulf to be a top PL performer, especially for a forward with the skill set being so high. I repeat, this is his chance working under Dyche and learning what Dyche wants. This is his chance at Everton, I’m in no doubt about that.

Guessing you don't think he's making then eggs

…erm, wasn’t impressed today as he needed to do more when he was in possession but I‘m not writing him off. There’s a 2 letter 10 word phrase I sometimes use;

’if it is to be it is up to me’

I think he has a bit of a chance. He won Dyche over in pre-season, I think that was entirely down to him. Now he has to do what McNeil, Harrison and Doucoure do. It’s improbable but it’s not impossible. Dyche doesn’t suffer fools, he’s bringing Dobbin on ahead of Danjuma for a reason.

He seems to be the first wide player off the bench. He isn’t going out on loan.

Didn't show enough today but maybe part of a learning experience. Hopefully he settles in for us
Put a shift in and didn’t let the team down in any way from what I remember. As you say sometimes youngsters need a bit of time to settle into first team football and get up to speed and won’t be instantly at the level of a seasoned pro

See I agree with the pre season shout but dyche has literally jibbed danjuma and played this lad over him. I think once he fills out a little bit he will be a decent yard stick for us

So if Danjuma is off and he gets a go... would this be worth trying whilst McNeil is out?

Dobbin ----- Doucoure ---- Harrison

impressed against Benfica u21s the other night. setting up one goal after beating a couple of players and winning a penalty (which he unfortunately skied over the bar)

Paddy Boyland reported he looked too good for that level. promising against one of the best academies in the world in terms of producing talent

hope he gets more than 20 minutes today
