I thought he was very good today and looks ready to fight for a place.

I doubt he will be going out on loan.

Now Holgate looks injured we might need to keep him. I've been impressed with him so far. Looks very composed on the ball.

I imagine he's battling with Branthwaite for 4th choice. With our defenders' injury records I can see them getting game time.

Who wants wow factor in a centre back?! I want someone that can spot danger and snuff it out. Anything else is a bonus.

I don’t mean it in that way. I just mean the first time Branthwaite came on it was almost like “wow this kid doesn’t look out of place at all”... whereas Gibson looks average to me even against today’s opposition. He isn’t physically imposing, he isn’t particularly quick. But I know he was highly rated when we got him so he must have something about him.

I have never seen him play and I don't like to over hype players, but if he's local, after today's performance we should definitely give him a 5 year contract at £120k a week because he's the best I've ever seen in my life. Or brands should walk if kenwright had any balls.

Lookman, yes, Davies no. Davies plays in about 80% of our games. Obviously not this coming season but I'm sure he'll be happy to sit on his arse and pick up a wage.
