I think Gibson himself wanted game time and brands came up with the loan to league 1 and now the championship and next season he'll get a chance if he proves himself. Best for all partys.

As hes been on loan this year already and he cant play for 3 teams in a calendar year if we play him then he cant go on loan for regular games which we have promised.
Is that calendar year thing true, I thought it was per season, never knew that if so.

Wont play on wed as he's off on loan. Its the reason he wasnt involved against Salford

Why would any team be bothered about that?

Assuming its a cup tied thing of course, injury risks I can get. It's not likely that whoever he will be going to will be going deep into the competition.

Yeah I can't see anything about a calendar year there

If im wrong then it would still mean we couldnt recall him in Jan and send him elsewhere.

So if he wasnt playing or we wanted to push him into a different club in jan we couldnt.

So if we play him now he stays all season with a loan team or comes back to us in jan. Not ideal.

I think he should go out again, another step up to the Championship, showing progression and see where he is next season.

But prior to Salford Branthwaite wasn't injured.

Think its more to do with the break clause in the Jan window.

We can recall him if we want (maybe if he's not getting much game time) but then we couldnt loan him elsewhere if he has played for us in the cup and Reading in the league.
