He's a good player who could have a good future, In england, or in germany, I'd like us to try and sign him, But just because he'd be interested in signing for us, Does not mean we are interested in signing him.
 

When you have Neville and Osman in CM while Gibson is out, we really should go for Holtby in January. His contract is up in June 2013.

Lewis Holtby, the midfielder who is linked with Everton every transfer window, has again reiterated his desire to one day play in England and says Everton are close to his heart.

The highly rated 22 year old is due to face Arsenal in the Champions League for Schalke this week, and he admits he admires the Gunners too.

Holtby’s contract at the Bundesliga giants is set to run out at the end of this season and he could leave on a free transfer next summer. When asked about his future he said:

“We will see when it happens. Everton are close to my heart and I always loved watching *Arsenal because of their style of play and some of the players they’ve hadâ€￾
 

You know what I'd be fumming if one of our players was going around saying he wanted to leave every week. And you'd think he'd get board of saying the same thing and spice it up.

Either that or the papers keep on bringing up the same old quote, which I bet he wishes he never bloody said now.

Although I hope we get him as I've seen him play a few times and he looks a very good player.
