I had a nice one the other day

A police car assumed I was going to let them in, so I didn't and then the police car was stuck in the middle of the road and a bus beeped at it

Stopped the petrol exactly on £40 today. Kept the trigger fully down and lifted it off just before it hit 40. Gave me an enormous sense of well being.

I went to do a bit of work in someone's garden this morning, he said he'd be in work at 9.30 and would leave the gate unlocked. When I opened the gate, a sheep ran out looking rather distressed. Proper wierd if you ask me.

Maybe the sheep thought to itself as you walked in mate "Hang on, I need a few beers to let him do me!" lol

The drive to work was pain free today.

Yesterday I sat in stationary traffic for 50mins because there were accidents all over the show.

There's horrendous roadworks near me. Yesterday it took 10 mins to travel the last two bus stops, so today I got off the bus early and walked. A small sense of satisfaction as I calmly walked past the stationery bus. Dear reader, I beat the bugger.

Car was up for MOT last week but I had an Engine Management Light on the dash. This is an instant fail in a Northern Ireland MOT. Took the car off to the dealer and they said it was a Fuel Temperature Sensor issue and it would be £800 to repair. A quick Internet search had the part arriving at my house the next day for £15 and I fitted it myself. MOT Passed for another year.

Invest in an OBDII code reader. You can get them for cheap. It will tell you the code that caused your CEL to come on and you can just google it to see what the fault is.

Thats all the mechanic will do. But without the charge for time

The year was 2005, I was but a sprightly teen in a form room full of nob heads. One of them, a ginger bloke, pipes up:

"Hey (TGW89) you're so ugly the midwife nearly threw you in the bin!"
I replied "Yeah, but at least I wasn't mistaken for a carrot!"

I said it wasn’t very nice and she told me to do one, got in her car, pulled out without looking and promptly smashed into a car driving past minding its own business.

I did wonder if I made it happen with my own mind power, but life’s little wins and all that!

Have applied for over 100 jobs in the last year but never lucky to get an interview, 2 I applied for yesterday and I have been invited for interviews this week.
