I'm down in Dymchurch so not far from you at all really, I know Hawkinge, just up past Folkestone.

It's a shame the Euro trains are so damn expensive, makes it not really an option, even though it'd be the quickest and best method.

I'm thinking about maybe going early Thursday, then staying a night in Lille and coming back Friday.

You know any other local evertonians? Seems im the only one down here sometimes! haha

Don't know of any blues around my way but there's quite a few scousers in Dover so if we're on tv you'll bump into 1 or 2 in the pubs.

I looked into getting the train but the last Eurostar or local train coming back this way leaves about 20:30(local time) and the match won't finish until 20:45!

I was hoping to be there and back in one day because I've got to take time off work but I might have to just take 2 days off and either get a hotel or stay out and get the first bus/train home in the morning.

If your headed into a hotel in Paris from the airport then book your train from Paris Gare du Nord instead, no point heading back out to the airport!
