What’s that gotta do with the price of fish?So basically I am responsible for Heysel, OK, I will accept that. Am I also responsible for the Liverpool involvement in the slave trade. ?
So there we have it,the typical kopite response to any mention of their decades of disgraceful behaviour, what about other clubs...trying to use the odd incidents of hooliganism perpetrated by various clubs over forty years to try to hide Heysel. Typical behaviour from your club to organise an open top bus parade on the anniversary of Heysel, speaks volumes about your clubs attitude in general. Ever the victims,if in doubt, mention Hillsborough. Time you took a hard look at yourselves and realised that you are the common denominator in all the worse stadium incidents in living memory. Thanks question ignored again, and yes I know the title of the thread and was trying to put things into perspective. Again, why if you read the title of the thread did you mention Hillsborough. ?
The involvement of Liverpool in the slave trade is an interesting one. During the American civil war cotton mills all over Lancashire stopped working as the workers refused to handle cotton picked by slaves. It's the reason there is a statue of Abe Lincoln in Manchester, it was donated by the Americans. The only exception to this was Liverpool, whose workers all carried on as normal. A newspaper article at the time reported "There are more confederate flags flying on the banks of the Mersey than can be seen in Richmond, Virginia. So basically I am responsible for Heysel, OK, I will accept that. Am I also responsible for the Liverpool involvement in the slave trade. ?
The people who ran at the Italians causing a panic which led to the innocent people being crushed are responsible. If you are saying that I am responsible then I cannot really help you as you seem to have a poor grasp on reality, by your logic if someone who supports Everton murders someone then you are responsible for that. Also 14 Liverpool fans found guilty of manslaughter, not murder. What’s that gotta do with the price of fish?
You are clearly not responsible for the Liverpool involvement in the slave trade, but there’s one big difference in your analogy.
The slave trade is over, not happening any more.
Sadly, Liverpool fans are still involved in crowd trouble, violence and forcing entry into matches with either no ticket or blag tickets, potentially helping to cause disasters and loss of life and are still behaving as they did at Heysel, whilst continuing to blame anyone and everyone for the issues and problems, whilst not recognising any part that they play in them. You follow?
No do bore off out of the thread that you’re polluting with nonsense, there’s a good murderer.

The re fanbase in its entirety continues to be responsible for what happened at Heysel, and all the grounds where problems have occurred with them in attendance since, as they have not recognised and called out the ongoing murderous, riotous behaviour as bad or improper or taken any accountability or blame for the issues - you’re posts confirm it, as you try and erase any memory or mention of Heysel consistently whilst weaponising hillsborough - the standard rs playbook. The people who ran at the Italians causing a panic which led to the innocent people being crushed are responsible. If you read my post I said the blame for Heysel lies with the Liverpool supporters who charged the crowd leading to the innocent people being crushed to death. I am not a murderer as you accused me of being, why can't you understand this ?The re fanbase in its entirety continues to be responsible for what happened at Heysel, and all the grounds where problems have occurred with them in attendance since, as they have not recognised and called out the ongoing murderous, riotous behaviour as bad or improper or taken any accountability or blame for the issues - you’re posts confirm it, as you try and erase any memory or mention of Heysel consistently whilst weaponising hillsborough - the standard rs playbook.
In fact, you lot try to blame every other possible reason aside from yourselves, for these issues.
The continued desire by the rs to not call out abhorrent and criminal behaviour from within its own fanbase is a much of a problem as those individual fans causing the trouble - if you can’t see that then I cannot help you and you do have a poor grasp on reality.
You do not want to understand the logic/reality I am using, as it goes against your beliefs, so saying that if an individual Evertonian murders someone then I am responsible is just idiotic and obviously not true.
However if you had said that if a ground full of Evertonians caused the deaths of innocent people, or Evertonians consistently broke through and climbed barriers at matches resulting in over crowding, or Evertonians consistently attended matches with blag or no tickets causing overcrowding, or if Evertonians broke lock down restrictions to tried to burn down the liver buildings and I consistently failed to acknowledge those evertonians and their responsibility, accountability or fault in any of those events, then I would have to agree with you, in that I would be a part of the problem and responsible for their ongoing behaviour and actions.
My acceptance would be a problem - why can’t you understand this?

Then why blame French police for a handful of officers who may have been a little tear gas happy. The people who ran at the Italians causing a panic which led to the innocent people being crushed are responsible. You had to trawl the world for most of those and of them nearly all were accidental, which Heysel certainly wasn't. Just another typically delusional kopite. Here is a list of some of the worst stadium incidents in living memory, https://footballgroundguide.com/new...asters-in-history-the-most-tragic-events.html, I suggest you check it out.
What are you on about? lfc is the only club in europe, whose supporters were responsible for the mass murdering (or mass manslaughter at the very least) of an other teams supporters at a football match.Trying to put things into perspective. Are you from your name Australian, cobber.
Took them from a site in about 20 seconds, you are missing the one where in 2012 ,79 people were kicked, hacked, stabbed and beaten to death. You had to trawl the world for most of those and of them nearly all were accidental, which Heysel certainly wasn't. Just another typically delusional kopite.
You might not have done the actual act mate, but you and the other rs enablers within your fan base, perpetuate the behaviour and conditions that allowed that tragedy to occur, and for the countless issues post Heysel, with your lack of accountability, remorse and continued “it’s never our fault” mantra.
I’ll put it another way - you and the rest of the so called “decent” rs fans, who will never admit there’s a problem from within your own supporters, are exactly that same as what the bbc was to jimmy saville - you both enable and empower a monster.
