So you are using something that happened half way across the world to justify Heysel? Maybe you should take legal action against UEFA for naming your lot the worst supporters in Europe. Maybe try getting a class action lawsuit together,I'm sure there are plenty more of the deluded who'd join you.?

For all the flack we give that amoral cheating spawn next door - have they ever taken their main sponsorship from a gambling firm?

Not sure i was born or aware of it back then!
I don't gave an issue with these horrible businesses existing - I just hate the way advertising is shoved in people's faces for what can be an extraordinarily addictive activity, praying on the poor or desperate hoping for a better life.

Sorry! I just have a mental picture of you as a grumpy old man. :blush:

I also hate advertising, but unfortunately it is an accepted part of modern life.
I take your point about gambling addiction, which is horrific, but millions of people (and I'm not one of them) enjoy gambling responsibly.
Alcoholism causes just as much misery as gambling addiction, but again millions of people (myself included) enjoy a drink. Were you this angry about our Chang sponsorship?
I hate the whole idea of sponsorship personally, but given that it is happening, is there ANY business that you would you be happy to see plastered across the front of our shirt?
Capitalism (unfortunately) rules.

For a long time, before they went to the dark side, Barcelona advertised only Unicef. In all honesty I'd rather nothing on the shirts other than the badge. And in the scheme of things- what is the sponsorship worth compared with the tv money. All the clubs selling their souls and values for a relative pittance.

Was about to make the same point. Like, there is, imo, a massive difference between doing the pools back in the day, and on line crypto gambling, but if the face fits etc.
