I was stood mate. My Mrs has an amazing ability to always get us the best spec and we ended up close to front and centre. It was incredible.

Seems you were stood in similar areas, my mate is a solid 6 foot but his lad is about 6'4". He mentioned Vedder came over to calm down some pushing and shoving down like some school master when tempers flared on that front right side. Did you get any pics of the arena?

I'm into new bands, more intimate venues etc. Last band I saw was an Australian band called Sons of the East (my favorite band atm). Had to go to Brisbane to see them but it was worth it. They have just finished in Europe and about to tour USA.

I'm off to see Kip Moore in September in Auckland. Yes, I've never heard of him either but Sons of the East are the support.

Following weekend my favorite NZ band, The Beths, are playing in Wellington so that's on my doorstep.

Foo Fighters were incredible on Tuesday, I'd go as far as to say the best i've seen in 30 years.

Looks like it was Joe Satriani by a month over Testament, Exodus and Death Angel. Both excellent shows.

I'm lucky enough to have a club venue in town bands who could sell five or ten thousand tickets like to play, because the acoustics are so good. Musicians in general are vain enough that it takes a lot of money to talk them out of sounding top-notch.

The crowd for Garbage, arguably the best band to come out of Scotland over the last 30 years, were very quiet. Not sure the sound is that great though which won't help.

Got friends staying. Going to introduce them to TLDP later. Not watched their set yet. Will catch Wunderhorse later. Think they usually keep the sets up for a month. Wasn't overly impressed with The Snuts.
