I do agree, Tottenham are vulnerable - and even Chelsea - look at their run in.

Still means beating Liverpool and Chelsea away - both things we havn't done under Moyes isnt it?
We'll have to get a bit of luck if we are to scrape through, Liverpool and West Ham are must wins and lets hope Spurs have their annual end of season meltdown.

Or the other alternative is that Chelsea win Europa and finish 5th that'll mean 6th will become eligible for Europa.

can just see the young referee getting bullied by them pair of ****s ,they will be in his ear from the 1st min

‘Yeah but they haven’t won anything have they?’ said Gerrard. ‘It’s nothing to finish sixth or seventh in this league, you know that. Listen, if Everton finish above us and their supporters are really happy and their players and everyone is really happy, then that’s up to them.

What he doesn't realise - is most people aren't really that arsed about being above Liverpool - the aim for the season is still that Europa League place, the aim for Liverpool is to try and catch Everton - and stay ahead of West Brom

Ok. So the thing of it is, I'm going to miss the game on Sunday due to family committments. It's Mothers' Day here and we've got a Barbecue on. I'll be running upstairs for a piss and a check on the scores every so often but won't be watching it. The last time I missed a game for that reason was the Johnson Derby. Why am I getting my hopes up?

Gerrard, your wife's a cokehead, your cousin Micky deals it, you used to take it, and your kids aren't yours. Allegedly

This is my team, attacking and ambitious. Don't bottle it Moyes FFS!

It's crazy we see that as attacking - it's still moyes style defensive but we'll be so happy to see that type of player on the pitch!

Can we argue? He's right, they start the season saying 'we should finish top 4, we say 'we would love to be in with a chance of finishing top 4 with a few weeks to go in the season' - that's the best we can hope for (not us on here but the man that unfortunately makes the decisions - David moyes). Everything I've read in his interviews this week is right.

Finish above them or not, doesn't matter. They have a much better chance of spending the money needed to make top 4 in the near future. And right now they are better than us - I don't care if we raise our game against the 'big teams', we can't put away the small teams like they can -it's close but they can destroy us if we don't turn up properly. The motivation against the big teams is the manager's reputation and making him seem good, and that's not right.

Lets see what the media think of him after Sunday....I hope it's not all
about stevie g or carragher's last game, I want sky to talk about the reason we have lost the game....his inability to motivate the team there.......thinking they are the Liverpool of the 80s and seeing us as inferior....

But no - it'll be the scouse heroes overcoming the everton thug adversaries in heroic fashion (far from the truth?)

We will not win this match. Why kid ourselves we will?

Moyes has just got to pick the right team ... no Osman, he's seriously off form and a liability. I think the key is Pienaar if he continues in the same vein as last week, play Vic on his own up front (Jelavic offers nothing at the moment and makes even Carragher look pacey) and allow Mirallas to roam, Barkley in a midfield role .. then I reckon we could do them. COYB

I agree about leaving Osman out and playing Barkley. It makes us more physical, for a start.

We couldn't leave Pienaar out, but he's been crap for ages until last week. Will he perform two weeks in a row? Let's hope.

Is this the day that Jelavic comes good? Maybe he'll rise to the occasion. We'll piss it in if he does.

Our best matches over a season are never against them for some reason, even when we beat them, but I'm hanging my hat
on the fact that they just aren't much good.

A lot could depend on how DM sets things up and that worries me. I hope he sends them out to attack from the start and keeps
attacking whether we score first or not.

I mean, it's not like we need a point to stay up or anything, and if we get beat at least we had a go.
