Hate this game SO much... Really tempted to go to the cinema for a couple of hours on Sunday. Haha.

I watch it on delay. I leave it recording for about half an hour and then watch it from the start. Makes no difference to the result but I'm more relaxed for some reason. What happens has already happened if anything goes wrong.

It won't make sense to some of you, but it takes a bit of the tension away for me. I think.

Agreed.

Come on blues!

Play up the red side!

Ok. So the thing of it is, I'm going to miss the game on Sunday due to family committments. It's Mothers' Day here and we've got a Barbecue on. I'll be running upstairs for a piss and a check on the scores every so often but won't be watching it. The last time I missed a game for that reason was the Johnson Derby.

Cripes man, sort your priorities out!

It's really eating the DJ beater up that we are on the verge of finishing ahead of that shower for a second season in a row!

Not since 1937 have we finished above them twice in a row...unbelievable that. We've got over 100 seasons in the top division, with 9 Championships, yet there's still stats like that out there. We might hate them, but you've got to grudgingly give them credit for their consistent high placings in the league.

I don't care if we raise our game against the 'big teams', we can't put away the small teams like they can...The motivation against the big teams is the manager's reputation and making him seem good, and that's not right.

The odd thing is that we used to beat the small teams just fine, we just always lost against the old big-4. This was during mid-period Moyes (2006-2009). 2010 we broke our big-club hoodoo and started beating the likes of Chelsea & Man Utd, but also since then we started to be less clinical and motivated against the middling clubs.

Perhaps related to that other Moyes 'evolvement': where he went from talking us up as future title contenders back when he first joined (Nil Satis etc) to talking us down as a small skint club doing better than expected.

I agree about leaving Osman out and playing Barkley. It makes us more physical, for a start.

Yeah, I'm also well up for Ross playing the full 90 minutes.

We all know Moyes will pick Osman for this. The worrying thing is if he puts him in CM, they will destroy us in CM then. I'd rather he played near the striker.
