I'd prefer to play your team than The Waiters. Were quite good at picking teams off who open up and come on to us. It's when the onus is on us to break teams down that we struggle. I hope Alonso is still out, I'd be quietly confident then.

I know but I've also heard off someone I know who has links to the club that he may still be struggling for the 1st game.

I usually get decent information about you, [Poor language removed] all on us though.
 
I'd rather they went 4-4-2, it'd certainly give us more room to break and counter attack. Especially if Alonso and Gerrard play in there, they'll definatly give us some room.

A combination of Mascherano, Alonso and Gerrard is a different matter. They are hard to break down and there's a good mix in there. It's also a lot more powerful than our midfield. I'd expect Benitez to go like that.

I just hope our 5th midfielder whether it's Cahill, Anichebe or Osman gives Neville and Arteta support. If they are left on there own they'll get overrun as Gerrard will definatly drop deep and support Alonso and Mascherano.
 

Its all about us i think.

With their midfield looking so dominant compared to ours, and our limited firepower up front, we wont get more than 1 or 2 good chances. If we dont take them, they will win easily.

We will have to rely massively on our brilliant defence to keep us in the game and hopefully nick it by the odd goal.
 
there seems to be "the silence" coming from you rtk on the issues i and others have raised, is it denial ? do you, like your club refute any allegations thrown at the good natured patrons of your stadia ? do you refuse to aknowledge that we are being made out as the bad guys whilst nothing is mentioned about reds behaviour ?

i want derbies to be like they were, a major obstacle in this is "the finger of blame" and also the insults from your manager and the disrespect he shows to the founders of football in the city. you shall find out all about it when he does one and heads to madrid, he wont dis them in the coming weeks as they are his future emloyers,& then the next time you meet in the c.l. he will be the head honcho and more than likely disrespect you all by belittling your club.
 
Victor has potential out wide, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Victor has potential out wide.

Mikel will boss it. I can't see him not bossing it to be honest, won't happen.
