It would be but he threw Hibbo straight into the derby at home this season when he was fresh back from injury so you never know.

Dont want it to happen because I think Baines will shine on that left. Most of his crosses are shockingly dangerous.

Agreed, he must be clocking up assists, while i can think of one or two that have gone begging. I think he has an odd goal in him too, and with Jo-Lo in the team we are not missing him in the box for set peices.

It deserves a mention to of how well Jags has done switching form left to right effortlessly.

Jags could play on his own in every position at the back and still keep a clean sheet hehehe.

There may be some substance to the idea of leaving Baines out though - no Fellaini, so his crosses aren't nearly as useful an option...

The shites draw against stoke couldnt have come at a better time, they wont be on a high, they wont be expecting to beat us, they know that they are going to have to work for it this time. We have a great chance of stealing the limelight next week, 1-1 in both games.

Its Derby day though...and as someone said beofre, form goes out the window on games like these.

But it seems more balanced. Alonso should be out and without him they're a bit lackluster. Lucas is the shites new whipping boy, and Mascherano has spent more time on the bench this season and its affected his play IMO. But they have Torres coming back into the frame and genuine width with Riera.

As for Baines. Its not just his crosses for headers, he can whip in some nasty low balls into the danger zone, has a good free-kick on him, and him and Pienaar attack well together.

The Manure Wigan game on Wednesday is a big one. If United win, it puts them 2 points behind the [Poor language removed] with a game in hand. So the derby game is pretty much must win for them if they wanna keep it going.

What I'm hoping is a good draw United jump to the top, and Chelsea leap over them. They'll buckle big time under the pressure.

Think he's gotta keep the same team as Saturday minus Fellaini.

As for who replaces him, i'd go for Gosling. I know the lad is young with little experience but i think he is the best out and out replacement we have for Fellaini at the moment who won't be needed elsewhere.

Either that or move Osman central and put Anichebe or VDM or the right but i cant see that happening really.

I really wanna see the team go for the win, its there to be won and the players owe it for their lacklustre performance at Goodison. Plus the way we have bene playing recently we are good enough to takw the game to them and win it.

Better to go for it and lose than role over and give up.

If Yobo is fit to play, i think Moyes may play him to combat the pace of Torres. Would Moyes possibly tinker with the idea of bringing Lescott upfront with Cahill? He's thrown him up there before, albeit a cameo role and he's an ariel threat similar to what Screech is. Lescott has proven he has an eye for goal and is not a stranger in and around the box. Just a possibility, don't think it will happen, think Big Vic will be playing up there with Cahill meself.

This may sound strange, but do you know what, i am pleased in a way that Felli is banned against the RS. I would have placed a wager that he would have been sent off at analfield, especially given the more recent referee's historionics in these meetings and there non understanding of what a derby like this means. Anyone know who the referee is for the league meeting?

No didn't suggest just wondering whether it's an option being considered by the management. As i mentioned, he's an ariel threat and has an eye for goal. Also if Yobo is fit, he has the pace to track Torres

I think we will sit deep, so Torres cant get round the back and i think we should stick with the current back 4, after so many clean sheets, you cant drop anybody, i know Joey has helped some of them, but its unfair to drop anybody.

But i dont think Moyes would put a CB upfront, that would be silly.
