Good result! Still have faint wisp of disappointment that we couldn't get the win, maybe that's for the cup!

Remember when Vic said he was looking at tapes of Drogba to learn things, it seems like he's only learned to dive more and complain more. That's my gripe. He should be shooting more rather than diving in the box! He's strong enough, he used to specialise in shoulder checks in Europe.

Anyway GET IN!

Pretty much what i said. I still felt he had a good claim for a pen though but it was at Anafield and you dont get awarded them there. Should have shot at goal before he was took out imo but he does go down too easy.

just spoke to my redshite brother in law and he reckons that we were very bloody lucky to get a draw!! to quote "we were all over you for 25mins in the 2nd half and should have killed you off"

so i said did you watch the other75mins? 1st half when you didnt have a shot on target but we had 4!! and we had 4 corners to your 0?? but they had 25 mins passing it around 30 yards out!! so they should have won!!

dont these [Poor language removed] watch the games?

Yes, but that'll do for now: one dented Premiership dream courtesy of the boys in blue. (y)

Answer is no!

A few observations:

1) For those who think Baines is our "3rd best left back," you can go take up supporting another club because watching Everton isn't for you. Easily MoM and I'm guessing Yobo's gonna have a bit of a hard time getting back into the squad when he's healthy.

2) Howard had a solid match but was waaaaay off his line for Gerrard's shot and couldn't react quick enough. Hopefully he'll learn from that. Had he been back closer to his line, I think he'd have had a chance at it.

3) I felt Anichebe did about as well as he could. Could have done a little better holding up the ball but he did create a few opportunities, especially getting around Skirtel. Can't say if it was a nailed on pen though.

4) Cahill. It really isn't a surprise anymore when he pops up with an important goal. Battled Skirtel all night.

5) Ref did a decent job in my opinion.

and lastly....

6) My wife came in to watch the last 10 minutes with me and after we equalized, the TV cameras showed all the Liverpool fans leaving, even with a few minutes left on the clock along with stoppage time. She said, "Why are all those people leaving right now? They could still get one couldn't they?"

I replied that they were Liverpool supporters. "That's what they do."

True, I always admired him for not going down easily, hopefully he'll sort it soon.

Its because they're punching above their weight:D

For me, Howard's mistake when the thug scored, was he was side stepping to his left and once that thug shot to his right, his momentum made it impossible for him to get across to make the save. Not a great goal but it will probably be voted "Goal of the Century", but never mind that goal going in, Timbo popped up to almost finish their unreallistic title challenge. The RS think the league is a sprint, Man United know its a marathon, thats what will always give them the edge.
