What a night to be alive! I watched it with my dad and the entire time after Gerrard scored he was saying "Everton will get one good chance before this game is up" and who better than Timmy C, a player you can set your watch by.
I thought The [Poor language removed] had a legitimate call for a penalty when Jags took Torres down in the box but otherwise Pool made very little chances. I blame Neville for the goal, he shouldn't have been that far out on the wing, we had 2 players out there and Gerrard was left completely unnaccounted for in the middle of the field.
I thought we had a call for penalty but not the Anichebe incident. After he bollocked Riera(I think?) his collapse in the box looked ridiculous. I think there should've been a penalty during one incident when Skrtel held down Timmy C while a corner was coming in while having no intention to go for the ball himself, and it wasn't the first time he did something like that during the game. Nobody seemed to notice though. I'm glad it was Skrtel's laughable non-marking of Cahill that resulted in our goal. Liverpool couldn't possibly win the league with the 2 full backs they have. And they definitely won't win it pulling off all their strikers 10 minutes from time. Benitez isn't a tactician, he's a gutless poster boy for negative, boring football.
All in all a great night, I never lost faith.

I actually think Kuyt is a good player. Would like him at Everton, seriously.

kuyt looks every inch a striker who is being asked to play as a winger.
he does alright but it isnt his best position.
playing kuyt upfront instead of keane would get a better performance.

I think Kuyt is a good player myself. Completely selfless, great work ethic and gets important goals. Actually looks like a rs player from the Paisley era.
