Liverpool Echo confirm Uncle Roy as rs boss

That is known as putting a brave face on it. His record with small clubs will just fit in nicely now. 5 star players that lot.

Its a club culture of "spend spend spend" that they've got to break. Can you imagine any Kopite you know - being happy that the coaching staff actually have to work for a living now????

Or that the blerts won't be going mental at them buying some blert for sqillions after they borrow abit more cash from the banks.

I've been pissing myself laughing every time Jason McAteer's been on Radio City "worrying that he'll be able to bring in big name players".

Like he was a big name player the blert.


They've totally forgotten what football clubs are all about. They think it's all about splashing cash on £20 million players.


Whilst at Everton - WE MAKE £20million players !!!!! Nothing but the best and all that.
 
On Tele today. Purslow stating that there is no need to sell Gerrard or Torres as they did not need the money!! Noticed as well no G & H there to welcome him to the club.

I laugh everytime I hear that great football fountain of knowledge passing judgement.
 
Listening to the radio phone in it's already clear that Hodgson is being set up as the feller who doesn't want "King Kenny" around the place. It sounds like these Kopites are storing up their ammo for Hodgson. Fair dos to him today for taking head on that question about Dalglish being snubbed by the board for the manager's job - Hodgson underlining the CEO's words that he wasn't seen as being a viable candidate. He'll have to get results immediately. No honeymoon period for someone seen as 'the board's man'.

Hangeland is a god as far as I'm concerned. He's a quality back, but if Uncle Roy does buy all of them the rs fans might as well start working out which 2nd division venue they'll be playing at next season. Must get me betting slip out.
