I said at the time that the day the club appointed Brian Doogan was a dark day.

Its absolutely disgusting and the lack of coverage and propaganda has increased ten fold since the appointment.

This latest act from the echo is nothing short of a disgrace. Any blue who buys it is part of the problem.

The only way is a boycott of the website..paper etc.

Why is Liverpool ahead of Everton in their websites 'toolbar' you could imagine local paper would think 'alphabetical order would be correct way here' but still (L)iverpool is before (E)verton

If you feel strongly that the people running Everton do a very poor job and that there are things that go on that shouldn't go on, and things that go on that shouldn't be kept secret, then I'm afraid the only way to change things is to have a local media that will investigate this. The national media doesn't give a toss.

It's all very well saying don't buy the Echo etc. Great, that's boss lad, you make a stand. But then nothing will change at all.

The Echo puts pressure on Liverpool and critical of them. It's a disgrace they don't do the same with Everton. Yes, I know they're in the club's pocket, and is reliant on them for various advertising revenue and access to the club. But they should grow some balls. So what if the clubs bans them? Then that's a story - make a story out of it! It strengthens the case that the club are a bunch of thin-skinned bells with something to hide.

The point is, if you want something to change at Everton, the local media is needed. Telling them to do one and ignoring them is not the answer. Hearts and minds need to be won.

This forum won't be pushed around by the local media - thats extremely unpopular as it is.

They also WILL NOT silence criticism of the ECHO either.

... It's not in their interest to upset the apple cart. Everton are their client (advertising) and the hierarchy that exists at the Echo are fans of our neighbours.
