Look at it at ever way you want if you want to say they broke defence record and keeper records spending all that money on vvd an alison to make it feel a bit better sound but the trueth is they sold a player who they paid about 10 million for and wanted a out of the club and got 135 million an spend it on those two players. Its basically a straight swap. Look what coutinho is doing and look at the other two at liverpool.

When I went to buy myself some kind of new one near work on Monday it was no surprise they didn't have any Everton, plenty of theirs though..... it did cross my mind at that point that I could make do with a Liverpool one; I could draw on their faces, throw darts at them, wipe my arse with it on the last day of the month, stuff like that.... and genuinely, Monday lunchtime I didn't actually hate most of their players as much I did ours.
They're still shitehawks though obviously so I got a nice Lowry one.

Tbh I don't care what they do, we have got our own house to get in order before we can even start to address the balance of winning a game against them, let alone winning a trophy.
They were constantly picking up silverware for years before we decided to have a purple patch of our own, looks like we will have to go through that again and hope that eventually our players get so sick of living in the shadows that they go out on the pitch and do something about it.
