So, if the ruskis go after Sweden next, is this inconsequential dirge likely to be coming back to the UK again? Heaven forbid Liverpool.

…have to admit to not being a fan myself but it clearly makes lots of people happy, so I have no issue with it. The City of Liverpool did a great job hosting it, all very positive in these miserable times.

Yeah brill, live and let live, that's super. It's just that the music is so bad it offends my nostrils.

For what it's worth David - I wasn't arsed in the slightest that YNWA was played.

I admit that it was perhaps a tad tone deaf, but it did absolutely nothing to spoil what was otherwise a hugely successful event for the city.

Same here.

I`ve developed the ability to zone out now when it comes on.

The simple fact, was that, whoever put the show together, thought it would be a good song to show solidarity with Ukraine, nothing more, nothing less.

Dave, 63, from Wigan, however, continues to see dead people everywhere.

I notice all the Eurrovision champions on here have made themselves scarce after that humilation we suffered as a club.

Apparently they were "so proud of my city, lad; couldn't be prouder, lad" up to that point...and then they vanished.

Fools rush in....I suppose.

The most embarrassing thing from a hugely successful week for this wonderful city is the reaction of clowns like you to a song that's not only theirs. Dortmund sing it, St Pauli sing it, Celtic sing it it's a song from a musical that was then sung by Gerry Marsden. They sing it but it isn't theirs, they don't own it. It was a song showing the innocent being slaughtered by war that people are thinking of them. Some of the reactions to it have been embarrassing. Video doing the rounds on WhatsApp of a couple in about their late 40's leaving the pier head because that song played. I don't even have the words for how sad and pathetic behaviour like that is.

I went and made myself a drink and ignored it because I hate the song but I didn't start crying and get angry about it. I also didn't turn over. I'm also now pro Israel. Well not quite but she made my Tel .... Aviv.

Also Finland, Norway or Germany - those should've been top 3, in that order.

Sodding "political" voting wins again though, don't give a shiny s*** that it's the 50th anniversary or whatever of ABBA's win.

Same with Ukraine winning with such a mid song the year before. Leave the musical show be about music and stuff on the stage for god's sake.

I don't subscribe to tribalism in football Dave, simple as that. Call me what you want, but for me it's a relic of a bygone era.

I live in the heart of this city and I love it here and things like this override my affinity to a particular football club all said and done.
lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

Worst goad EVER.

Seems to spend his days trying to "out blue" everyone. It's quite painful to watch to be honest.

Anyway, Poland didn't get the acclaim she deserved.
I found it quite boring to be fair. A friend of mine also mentioned there was some controversy with the selection and that some songs are better.

I haven't checked/heard for myself, but can 100% believe it lol
