Neville was just a poor everything.

Poor player, not bad captain.

Nobody moaned at having Neville as captain, just that he wasn't up to premier league level anymore!

Have a wee look at the Neville thread.

He had done well this season .
He is playing with an injury and its one game.

Just never seems to galvanise the squad when needed.

He was. Jagielka is fine, he's been an asset for us for years. Neville was the opposite of that.

Phil Neville was our worst ever captain, in terms of ability and being a suck arse simpleton. He was the one major positive of Moyes' leaving and seeing his face when United lose makes it 100x funnier.
