Still hurting from yesterdays result as everyone on here must be. Never deserved not to come from that game without a point if not three. Never seem to have any good luck regarding derby games, but the tide will turn. Thankfully can now focus wedensdays home game against newcastle and put yesterdays result behind us. Regarding the away games against arsenal, chelsea,Man utd and the reds i feel we played well apart from bad finishing and also again bad luck. Improvements are there to be seen so COME ON YOU BLUES.

Losing when you arguably should have won, especially in a derby and especially in injury time, is a horrible one to take but the “should have won” bit - and because we played very well as opposed to them being shocking - is massively encouraging to me.
.

Can see where you’re coming from but us playing very well opposed to them being shocking and still getting beat would not be massively encouraging to me!!!! It was a good game by us but certainly wouldn’t say they were shocking though. This ‘should’ve won’ bit, no doubt we could have had a couple but so could they. It was a decent game and we played our part. The best performance in a Derby for some time and we can take positives out of it. I’m just not having the narrative on here from some about them winning but us taking the honours though.

I do struggle with some blues, I truly do!
1) if they had lost or drawn that match then the gap between them and city would widen and they absolutely can not afford that, that was why Klopp lost it, it truly was a massive, massive result for them, and it was in no way disrespectful to us! Imagine how bloody self righteous we would be if Silva had done it and the reds kicked off on him??
2) I enjoyed the game, not the result, but the game was good to watch, think about that for a second, we contributed to a good match at Mordor??
3) Brands and Silva have only just started, imagine the progress we will have made by this time next season? Sit back and enjoy it guys, we went to the pit and were unlucky not to win, it isn’t a curse, it isn’t “Everton that”, it is progress, even the RS commentators on Sky were forced to give us credit. There is a change in the air guys, those old enough to remember Ball arriving or Kendall’s victory at Stoke in the cup will recognise it, those too young, trust an arl arse, good times are coming!

Had a few false dawns though. Let's hope this one doesn't follow that pattern.

will there now be a petition for klopp? start wearing klopp tshirts lol, to be fair I understand emotions take over but he ran on like he won a cup or summit.

..a manager shouldn’t enter the field of play during a match. They are restricted to the ‘coaching box’ on the touchline. It would be a dangerous precedent if he’s not punished. His action lacked class, could’ve incited trouble and was very disrespectful.

Klopp charged with misconduct. In my personal and utterly unbiased opinion I think they should forfeit the points.
Plus any points they get for the rest of the season
I hope Klopp gets a 3 game ban
If Mourinho had done that he would certainly get a 3 game ban
But it’s the dentists pension fund and the devils spawn so he’ll only get a fine

Exactly
If he gets away with it then it’s a free for all for all managers
They will have to set a marker down and ban him for at least 1 game and probably 3
They won’t though
The media campaign has started on Sky already , only Danny Mills going againythe grain

This does feel different to similar occasions, Martinez first season, they played superb football, but didn’t seem to have the work rate and bit of snide to compliment it? This side isn’t playing as nice football just yet, but the whole package seems more like the real thing to me? Reidy said about the 80’s side, if they wanted play play football, we would play them off the park, if they wanted a scrap, we would kick them off the park! I think this team could well be developing that mentality? Early days I know, but the foundations look solid so far, fingers crossed! :)
