Getting completely annihilated by our dear neighbours at least twice a season is the cross all Evertonians must bear. I've come to accept it, and so should you.

We haven't been "completely annahilated" in the last 4 meetings (and last season we were utter garbage remember), and in fact over the last 10 years half of the games have been drawn. From our point of view lack of wins is hard to take, but equally rs must be wondering why they haven't won more times. Their sense of relief at the end yesterday was telling.

Lot's of heads falling off after the derby match.We went toe to toe with them and were unbelievably unlucky not to come away with at least a draw,only 14 games into Marco's reign.

"completely annahilated" would suggest us losing every game and by a substantial margin, not by the odd, often fluked, goal. I can understand people feeling that that's the way it's always been but reality says otherwise. Our day will come.

Oh Mac, we both know that their luck doesn't run out.

Those Karius howlers will probably have them in credit for the next five years.

As long as I can remember they have been lucky on (and off!) the football pitch! The first time it really got to me was being stood on the Kippax Stand when Bryan Hamilton’s goal was chalked off by Clive Thomas, and the most recent one was yesterday in the 96th minute forty one years later, In between the two they have been without doubt the luckiest football team to cast a shadow on grounds across the country!

It’s been going on now for well over forty years and merely serves to feed the sense of entitlement they have over there! No wonder other teams fans hate them and their largely horrible group of fans!

End of the day, we could lose every derby from now until the day I die, and I'd still be grateful every day to my late grandfather for ensuring there was no chance I ended up as one of them.
