Why drop Walcott when you think pace will be effective. This game is set up for his pace. Doesn't mean he will play well but I think this would be the wrong game to drop/rest him for.I think that Walcott needs to be dropped, for Lookman, but I also think pace in between the full backs and centre halves could be fruitful today. For the same reason I reckon Richarlison will play on the left. I know we’re not in the same league as PSG but we can use the tactics they did.
Do we go toe to toe or play on the counter letting them come on to us?
On the counter.Do we go toe to toe or play on the counter letting them come on to us?
Highly doubtful
On the counter.
Stay in the game upto 70 mins , then hopefully PSG game will catch up with them.
But it will be a dodgy decision that could decide this...and it is at Anfield

I'd keep him (Lookman) fresh and let him loose on Newcastle and Watford. 2 games in 4 days.
Same 11 lids. You also have to factor in Robertson for this game. Walcott nullified Alonso very well 3 weeks back and could do the same for Robertson. Last season he ran us ragged in the first half until Lennon moved onto his side and stopped that outlet for them. Walcott is similar to Lennon (better offensively but similar going the other way). For me it's a no brainer re Walcott. What is interesting is whether Bernard is sacrificed for Lookman. I wouldn't and would throw him on around 60, bit can see a case for it. I think Bernard may benefit from a rest.
