I for one am delighted that my weekly 5 a side is at half 4 this Sunday. Might catch the last 15 if it’s 1-0 or less but more than likely I’ll go for an early bath. Cannot stand the Anfield derby, normally force myself to watch it but it’s basically a car crash in slow mo.

5 aside at the weekend is wild brother, you rarely hear of such a thing.

But yes we will get slapped obviously.

but but but its impossible to get tickets for libpool home games????
It's apparently something to do with the club maintaining the quota of games required, e.g. monopolising it to maintain prices - supply and demand.
Could be in the relegation zone when this comes up. Burnley have 2 home games to play before.
If we're in the relegation zone by the derby, it'll be a very difficult few weeks. We need to keep our head above the water.

Biggest cope I've seen this year, not gonna lie.

Just go straight to the pub mate.

Well he is at least asking for us fans to stay together during the Derby game although the two of you are throwing the towel in four days before the game has taken place, I believe we can pick a defensive team that can frustrate and upset them to the extent we just might get a draw, I’ve been to Anfield at Derby games when the result has looked to be well beyond us and been pleasantly surprised with a draw and the Kevin Campbell game when we won, anything is possible if you believe, no use going if you don’t!!
Cheers mate - I think Death and I are taking the p out of each other. I love this Club but hate what is happening on the pitch.

This is all about damage limitation.

Best we can hope for is 0-0 and even that would take an absolute miracle with the group of players we have.
Rather hoping Burnley slip up tonight and then Wolves instead of worrying too much about the derby.

Expecting a good slapping here.

There is a tiny part of me that still hopes though.

I'm getting images in my head of Rondon being the type of unlikely derby hero that history throws up from time to time..

I know I'm not the only one who gets these fantasies, just that most of you are afraid of looking silly so don't say anything.

As far as looking silly is concerned, I'm past the point of no return so not worried.

If we play for the points rather than the occasion we might be able to get something. However, our players bumholes will drop out the moment they step on the pitch

Both teams will score, one a few more than the other I should think

I expect our lot will be severely butthurt after this one, but like you I'm still hopeful.
