We have a squad made up from players who are not good enough to play in the Premier League, from players who do not have the commitment to preform at Premier League standard and a squad of players who are so mismatched that no one system can get the best out of them. However they, as a collective, have enough ability to stay in the top division but to do this they have to realise their shortcomings and pull together to find a way to play to their strengths and to minimise their frailties. This is were we fall down, too many of them play for themselves more often than they play for the team. I have no doubt we can avoid relegation if the squad are all minded to do so and are willing to give their all to the team. I do doubt that the players want to sacrifice themselves for the overall good. I read a piece a week or so ago where Holgate was discussing his England future, he hasn't the wherewithal to realise he isn't in the top three centre halves at Goodison never mind England. Players need to realise where they are within the professional ladder and then find a way to make what limited ability to count. Unfortunately I can't see them doing this as they still think they should be competing for Europe and being in the relegation zone is somehow

Yeah but we'd be lapping it if he did that to the reds for us. Amd it dis annoy me him doing that. Heck if we had klopp when he left dortmund and only won a single pot and had us scrapping champions league coupled with his personality we would refer him like a god.

I know that sounds like I'm trying to inflame fellow blues. And I know it is. But its the genuine truth in my opinion.
Yeah, you’re mostly not wrong. Though if our manager did the same, I’d still have not have liked it. Can say that with confidence.

Can’t imagine someone like Ancelotti or Pep doing that in any circumstance. They have too much respect for the opposition.

Unfortunately I can't see them doing this as they still think they should be competing for Europe and being in the relegation zone is somehow someone else's fault. They point to the supporters saying "How can we be expected to play our best when people who work hard for a year to earn what we get in a week don't cheer us for under performing ". I sincerely hope we remain in the Premier League but we must gut the club from top to bottom or else relegation is an inevitability.

This is the table if Burnley draw with Wolves tomorrow..... If they can beat Southampton they can win all their home games which is Wolves, Villa and Newcastle who will now take their foot off the gas because they have nothing to play for.

We are down, we need 9 points, we just aren`t getting that!

The worst bit is that I watched Burnley, other than the 1st 5 minutes I can not remember any games within at least the last 3/4 seasons where we have played anywhere near that level..... BUrnley masterstroke getting shut of Dyche and we are going down, 100% guaranteed.....

Thanks for this. Bottles of bleach on order now.

we lose easily...I am looking forward to winning a trophy in 2 or 3 three years (I think we get promoted back to PL sometime around then). And what celebrations will ensue. Finally, we will have something to boast about. Blue Bill will be blubbering on a scale never before seen!

Betting on Liverpool -2 goals is as good as buying money.

13/10 on Paddy Power. I'm remortgaging the house and putting it all on that.

Obviously, Liverpool will be the favourites. And it's understandable to anticipate a loss considering how mediocre we've been the last decade and how bad we are this season. But this is not a normal scenario where everyone plays to the expected outcome. There has to be a purposeful act at every play of the ball from the first kickoff to the final whistle.

We can't hide, we're going to have to hit out. There has to be an attitude to win because the situation requires a win.

Yeap. We have to look at ourselves. Point the finger at our own club. Hes actually likable. Like he's an exceptional manager first and foremost but he isn't an absolute gremlin. Our own club has been ran disgracefully yet we try hard to find fault in klopp cause he's thier manager. And uts what we are supposed to do.

I know I liked him at dortmund. And many other blues didn't mind him. We would have a bit of class if we just said fairplay. We are ran crappilly and should look at ourselves for being light years away from ever attracting a manager like him.
I'm glad you said that. I also find him likeable, it's the attitude of a section of rs fans that annoy me, hence the Site Entrance thing I posted. But then again there is probably a section of our own fans who they find obnoxious too, so it's probably swings and roundabouts.

We are going to get smashed to bits, hopefully we come out of it by injuring a few of their players so their season gets ruined.
This is why that C Klopp went all, Everton are aggressive, Everton are over the top, and Everton injures players.

He wants the ref to card people all over the shop when they step on his little princesses' toes.

Wants to make sure we are kept in check because he does not want to lose any significant players for the run-in.

I say F him; arrogant MF...

Would be bloody fantastic if we win and help ourselves staying up while denting their title hopes but sadly that ain't gonna happen.I'll take a 1-0 defeat right now cus it could get embarrassing tomorrow.
