I just want to see a valiant and physical effort from us tomorrow. I don't care if we lose 1-0, or give up a late goal resulting in a draw when we thought we had it won. I hope we get after them and play a physical game. This really could set the tone for the last hand full of games. UTFT!
What we want to see and what we will get are going to be vastly different things. I hate to say but I think we are done. We could already be in the relegation zone before kick off if Burnley avoid defeat.

I'm really genuinely worried about the club, we have Leeds written all over us. This could be the last Merseyside derby for a decade, a generation of children might grow up having never watched one.

With regards to the game then Liverpool will do what Liverpool always do and try to have the game won inside 20 minutes. If they score early they'll put a cricket score on us until they decide to end the game early like Spurs did. We have to getvthrough the first half without conceding and to get anything out of this game it will have to be nip and tuck until we can snatch a headed goal. We have got all the hallmarks of a doomed side, we concede too often and we struggle to score. We need 2+ goals to win a game, you can't survive like that.

perhaps a little more optimism? We’re not favourites, but the doomongering is ridiculous. There’s two sides playing football, the ball is round and it’s a derby. Anything can happen.
Just need some courage on the pitch and in the stands.
what we need to do is keep calm and finish with 11 players, losing players to suspension could be quite damaging in the games to come.
Dillian Whyte wasn't the favourite either....

He got demolished!

At least we won there last year and we haven’t got that horrible record/burden hanging over our heads.

Everyone saying this could be embarrassing. Well it will be for them if we manage to get any sort of result out of this game.

If we win/draw we hand the title to City.
If we lose they put us in the bottom 3 (based on Burnley) and we stay there.

It doesn’t seem like it, but this could be the most important derby in the city’s history.

True to form.... I'm following my subconscious ritual.

10 days before. Hopeless. We'll get smashed. Damage limitation. Give them 3 points and leave our GD as it is please.

2 days before. What if we get a draw.... Could happen. After all, it's a funny old game. We've spawned it before.

1 day before. Maybe we could sneak a win. Why not, they've got to lose sometime. We've nothing to lose. You never know.

Day of Derby. Reckon we'll do this you know. Just got a funny feeling. UTT

Kick off. We're gonna do this. UTFT!

20 minutes in.... We'll see. If we get to half time at 0-0. We're gonna do it. (That was never a yellow, but there's should have been red)

40 minutes FFS Everton.

80 minutes. Turns off. Swearing. Asking why I even support the blues.

2 days after. Oh well didn't expect anything anyway. Hope for next game.... Which of course was more important anyway.

Rinse and repeat.

Or maybe, just maybe. The hope before is the best bit.

UTFT!!!!

This is a very powerful and true statement. Do you think the players realize that or even care? Hopefully both.
