Schneiderlin won't make it. I would go:

Robles

Holgate Jagielka Williams

Lennon Gana Davies Baines

Barkley Mirallas

Lukaku

With no Lallana or Henderson that side is still strong enough to get 3 points imo. I would trust Lennon over Kenny although I think Koeman will go:

Robles

Holgate Jagielka Williams Baines

Gana Barry

Davies Barkley Mirallas

Lukaku

Still a decent side but Barry would worry me massively
Happy with the first selection if we had too

They usually go 4 3 3 so the 2nd option I could see. Hopefully davies will drop into help Barry. Mirrallas Barkley and Rom are ideal on the counter attack.

I have to be in Liverpool on Saturday morning and I'll need somewhere to watch the match in town where I won't get my head smashed in by some Kopites. Is there anywhere that will be showing the game where a Bluenose will be welcome?
There will be no reds in Liverpool....they'll all be watching on Sky in Yeovil in the half and half scarves moaning about the season ticket waiting list....and blaming Chelsea for something.

Be amazing to see us play well.

Literally every single derby at their place has been a backs against the wll job for well over a decade.

I think Rooney's first derby was a pretty even encounter at Anfield, but yeah, since then it's been a nightmare to watch.

I really fancy us this time. I reckon Gaz Baz will start, and to be honest his experience might well be important. My bigger concern is Jagielka, and Mane running at Baines.
I'm going to be backing Ademola to score too.....feeling in my water all week about that

Just a couple of observations. Firstly we have to view this how we view going to OT on Tuesday. A hard game but not one that should hold terror. One that is winnable. The r/s haven't got some secret trick against us, we just have not won away at top teams enough. United 1 win in 25 years, Arsenal no win in 21, Chelsea no league win in 20, Liverpool no league win in 18. It's indicative of a club that has flirted with relegation and in it's revival never built a winning mentality. Saturday is just another chance to begin to change that mentality, which is slowly happening with the club.

Secondly, this is a much bigger game for them. This is a free hit season for us. Koeman's first. Our first post the debacle at the end of last season. A Rebuild job. We find ourselves in a situation with everything to gain and if we fail, we end up 7th which is good progress for us. They on the other hand need CL league football this season. Without that it's another summer not attracting the top targets. Momentum massively stalled in clop's second season. No win and they could be looking at United being within 2 points of them with 2 games in hand. That is going to freak them out big time. United are almost to them what they are to us. However well they seem to play, they end up finishing below them. I think there's a serious likelihood of a bottle job if they don't win and United do this weekend.

Lallana and Henderson are massive blows to them. They re two of the mentally stronger player they have. Injuries are building up. Loren's first game back. Firemen and Firmino probably jet lagged having got back Thursday morning off a play and are playing 2 days later. Lucas likely playing (who's their Barry). I fear Wijnaldum who is due a goal.

A big opportunity, lets try and be positive!

Every year I do this and talk myself into thinking it could be our time and I'm in danger of doing it again. We really ought to know better...
