I think 3 at the back is the right way to go given our lack of midfield options. Liverpool don't have much height do the issues we had against Crouch at Stoke with the 3 at the back shouldn't be replicated. Aside from that it was the formation we used against City. It allows us to match up Liverpool's front 3, keep Davies in the middle at his best, takes the defensive responsibilities away from Barkley and the full backs and also allows a partner for Lukaku. In my opinion it's definitely our best set up.

Yep, back 3 goes into a back 5 if were under the cosh which we will be at some point in the game, it also plugs the gaps for the little sliding balls for their runners..
I would expect they will focus Rom (obviously) possibly both CBs all over him which will allow space for DCL to run into.. If Rom is in beast mode though he should rip Klavan a new one today!!
