From your own football experience @Eggs, can you coach mental resilience into a player or is it something you are born with?

Or I suppose, can Koeman coach this out of the players who have bottled it at Anfield before?

..I think it's something that is natural. Saying that, most professionals need that to make it to the top but some have more attitude than talent. The manager has a key role, I think Joe Royle was unbeaten in Derby matches so obviously sent his team out with the right preparation.

4 scousers. 6 aged 23 or under. COME ON BLUES. We're going to smash this today.

SSN presenter. Matthew Pennington making his premier league debut today apparently. Where do they get them from?

Also referred to the back 4 of Holgate, Jagielka Williams and Baines. So where's Pennington playing?. Left Wing?. I really don't think he knows who he is.

Three at the back.

Holgate and Baines wing backs.

Do you think Koeman can convince Baines and Jagielka to expect a win here rather than just to travel in hope?

Be interesting to see Pennington starting, @Eggs - what have you made of him recently mate as know you follow the under 23s a lot more than i do.

..first and foremost he's a defender who likes to defend. My fear is balls coming into the box from wide but fortunately the Reds don't play a lot of those. He moves out of defence well with a football at his feet. I have my doubts but I know the staff rate him highly and I think we can only truly tell when they are thrown in.

Impressive young man, despite being a pro he did the sciences at A Level and got A grades. His sister is studying medicine. I think that intelligence helps on a football pitch. Good luck to the lad.
