Sounds like the 0-1 away win that Sharpie scored a belter of a volley, not dissimilar to the he smote across the parkPortsmouth, no roof and it was lashing down , we won tho
It’s only (shamefully) London if it was North London.Furthest I’ve travelled to watch Everton is (shamefully) London.
Furthest I’ve travelled and watched Everton is San Francisco.
Ye, done it a few times in the seventies, one was a night game

South of the river is (Whey hey!) London.
Kharkiv was a brilliant trip and the furthest European I went , Minsk is nearer but like you say hardly anybody went and there was a whole visa carry on and all kinds of home office advice . Both cracking trips , the train from Kiev to kharbkib is really stuck in my mind it was , I think , over 8 hours and all for about ten bob so that was all a bit mad .We played Bate Borisov in Minsk that would of been a long trip. Think we took a good 2500 fans to Khariv. About 700 to Borisov and about 500 to Krasnodar.
The train to Norwich to win the league felt like we were travelling to Beijing, it was never ending .Ipswich away I think.
I think I'd aged 3 years by the time i got back home
That uncovered stand was , I think , called the intercash and I remember getting soaked there a couple of times including just after Redknapp got nicked . it was brutal and like you say totally uncoveredPortsmouth, no roof and it was lashing down , we won tho
