Longest away trip watching Everton

Benfica when Moyes graced us with about five right backs. Absolutely lashed down after the game too. Drove to Liege and that was ‘lively’ in the home end and the town that night.
Wasn't Benfica the night of the infamous "dead pigeon"episode?,some card carried it through security in a maccies bag and when the Benfica eagle took off pre game lobbed it pitchwards to distract itlollollol

We used to live in Portugal and flew back to take my lads to their 1st Everton match. I picked an 'easy' match at Goodison months in advance,so we could celebrate a win. Can't remember the date but it was it the end of the Silva era and ended up losing 2-0 to Norwich. Now live in Portsmouth and have taken my lad to Goodison about 12 times against 'easy' teams (Luton x 2, Fulham x 3 etc).....and lost every one!!!!! A couple of the away games, including 5-1 at Brighton, have brought him a few moments of joy though.

Gillingham 1st fa cup replay,by the special.
On route via Dover, to miss the London rush hour....
Missed the kick off ,definitely an 8 hour journey time.
I was on that we all thought the train driver was smoking something, sure it was on a Monday a draw i think and went back up on the Thursday when we eventually won the game as they won the toss

Sheff Wednesday fa cup were 5 up by half time, went over the pass took ages as only 1 lane, got in to Sheffield about 7.30 and plod were searching all the coaches for ale taking ages , lads in the mini bus i was driving all ambulance drivers started giving a monster of a lady pc stick as we drove off, we then get pulled again by now an angry monster pc.
Short story we got escorted out of Sheffield again to the pass, stopped at the pub but missed the 5 goals and ii got find £50.00 for driving a van and allowing ale to be carried on it.

Rotterdam in '85 is the furthest.

In England the furthest is Southampton in 1999 but that probably doesn't count as I was working in Bournemouth at the time so I didn't travel specifically for the match.
