I am not sure this is 100% correct. It is subjective but what is a real chance, by definition. Is it a run of 10 games starting, 20 games starting, etc.

In my opinion he got enough of a chance to impress and stay in the team/at the club, but it didn't happen, whether that was down to the managers tactics, his talent or attitude, that is the debate. I don't think we can categorically say he did not get 'real' chance, as a fact. In reality it was a mixture of the first and last of those points, there is no doubting that he could play football.
I struggle to take the suggestion that 1700 minutes and 14 starts across 3 seasons is a chance seriously. Yeah it's subjective but that doesn't mean you get to just say it when you feel like it and you're right.

Disagree. He's always played well and the difference has just been whether his manager actually allows him to play regularly or not.
Rubbish.

Everton managers didn’t leave him out for ‘weird reasons’. They left him out because whenever he started a game he was anonymous and couldn’t reproduce his form off the bench. He showed promise but had very little consistency.

You do know this, but you’re trying to score points in the hope that people have forgotten.

I would have liked him to have had more of chance here

However, if the reason he wasn't playing was partly down to his attitude then he has to shoulder some of the blame

Like most of things in life, the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle

Just like every other manager, of every other club he`s been too.

Even the famed Lepzig couldn`t get a tune out of him, this was despite him engineering a move to them.

No mate I don't know this because it isn't true.
