Fully expect that but don't write off the chances of the BBC or the Presenter paying hush money out.

Any kind of contact, payment and so forth would be very hard to disguise from an ongoing police investigation. Phone records, emails, social media etc etc.

I don't think anyone will come out of it well either reputationally or in terms of well being, regardless of the truth. The hares have been set running, as is the nature of these sorts of stories.

All a rather strange case but potentially this young lad could have been groomed and doesn't realise he has been so is going against his family who have concerns??

Pretty sure it’s a lad. The original quotes from the mother when the story first broke were “my son” and “‘my boy”, but since then it appears that all outlets are rewording the quotes to say “my child” etc.

Guessing it’s either a legal thing, or knowing the UK media they’re probably thinking the story would be “sexier” if the public assumed a young girl was involved!

I think there are quite strong laws against incitement in the UK, so I'll mind my words and say that the closure of that rag would do more to benefit society than any politican has in the past 20 years.
