Oh Dave. Your hatred of the RS is admirable; but comparing that tattoo to religious secterianism is stretching credibility to breaking point.

Haha. Think you're overthinking this one. It's a tattoo. We've had reds play for us. They've had blues play for them.

If it makes you feel better, ive heard Ashley williams has a lifesize tattoo of Dixie Dean etched onto his considerable gut. That's why we all love him.lol

no impact on my level of happiness, I'm just pleased we are bringing in quality players in positions that we need them this summer

That's nowhere near the issue though.

People are kidding themselves if they dont see that tattoo as embarrassing. I'm just speaking truth here. Does it matter if he's a great LB for us? Of course not. But at this moment in time.....

Agree. As part of the medical every incoming player should have to write an essay explaining the personal meaning of each tattoo they have, when it was inked, where and by whom, and then the tattoo artist should be interrogated to ascertain their football club allegiance as well.
 
Given he has a ton of other tattoos that have no reference to football and that he is French and has absolutely no connection to Liverpool whatsoever, I'm gonna guess it is a reference to something else. Just spitballing but maybe he is religious and it means God is always with him. I don't but maybe we should take 5 minutes and think this through
