Needs to work on his defending (they all do) but he has one sweet left foot.

Told you....just like I told you we needed another striker.
Baines can't defend never has been able too.good going forward, looks a bit suspect at the back. Would probably have Baines in there whilst the defence is very makeshift at the moment.
It was never a priority for you though. I bet it is NOW.And as ive already shown you David, I said we needed a new Striker in May,
This exactly. Far easier said than done with this lot though.I like him but when we lose the ball sloppily he will always be caught out of position. We need to keep possession better for players not to be caught out.

They're won by scoring goals mate. Always have been and always will be.Nope, midfield is still my top priority, I would buy 3 CMs before I bought a Striker.
We added attacking players in Rico and Bernard.
Games are won and lost in midfield.

We have been pony since Lukaku left.
Whilst I don't disagree that we need a better striker Dave, and goals do indeed win you games, I've personally seen enough strikers at Everton over the years toil badly through a lack of proper creativity from both the central midfield and out on the wings. They're won by scoring goals mate. lolWe still finished 11th twice with Lukaku Dave.
Our best season in this league, we had Marcus Bent up top and Quality players like tommy Grav/Arteta, Carsley and Cahill in the engine room.
It's a general lack of technique from players we should have got shut of or never should have bought. It's not going to be solved by buying a midfielder.Whilst I don't disagree that we need a better striker Dave, and goals do indeed win you games, I've personally seen enough strikers at Everton over the years toil badly through a lack of proper creativity from both the central midfield and out on the wings.
If we had a quality playmaker in the area of the pitch that Schneiderlin takes up then we'd look miles better going forward right off the bat. It genuinely infuriates me that we haven't had this kind of player at the club since Arteta in his pomp. For me that's absolutely the key to sparking our 'resurgence', if it were ever to actually happen.
