As everyone else, I am really happy with him so far. I remember Barca fans singing his praises when it was known that he was coming to us and you can see why. Just so tidy in everything he does and a calming influence. Will be even more effective once Silva and Brands complete their overhaul of the squad.

Since they sold him rather than played him? I don't think it's particularly any slight on us and actually bodes well for any worries about the quality of Mina / Gomes when they do come to play

Not pipping Alba to a starting role is nothing to be ashamed of and you just need to look at the list of clubs he's played for to know he's a class act. I'm just amazed Barca let him go so cheap

Was desperate for us to get Tierney because I wasn’t fully sold on Digne’s attacking game - which was fully justified after watching him for Barca and Roma.

Blown away by how much he’s come on in that aspect of his game.

Properly sound defender to boot. I’m glad it’s Marcel making the calls and not me.

He is not as good as their starting LB
All of those things would suggest otherwise
