He was good begining of season but not fantastic, hes never been fantastic really.
Could have something to do with not having a winger infront of him.
He is so slow in ter.s of urgency, but again, that could be something to do with having nothing infront of him.
Poor decision making, both defensivelly & offensivelly and loves that jog with the ball over the halfway line just to stop and pass it inside

Player Valuation: £50m
We are set up poorly from an attacking perspective and that isn't on the players.
Digne's decision making can be poor but his choice is generally either just to punt in a cross or pass it back. There's never anybody to link up with.
Needs support imo. Played the whole season with no one in front of him, and our current midfield isn't athletic or adventurous enough to provide the support

Player Valuation: £25m
Yesterday Digne was poor. His job is to deliver in good crosses and you could almost go into double figures the amount of times he put in poor balls. His corners kept hitting the sheff utd first man, he also put at least one unmarked cross into row z.
That sort of lack of quality just really stunts team momentum. I've never really been a huge fan of him. He's not great defensively so if he's not producing the other end he becomes a bit of an issue and maybe an area we should look for a replacement next season

He's been a massive issue like Holgate as in when they receive the ball they instantly slow down play and play it backwards.
Regardless of who he does or doesn't have in front of him, there's no way he can be walking off the pitch thinking he's done his absolute best worh performances like yesterday. That was as bad a performance as your likely to see.
I love the fella but I'm sick if hearing about it just being temporary lapses of form worh these players. They are lobbing in 3/10 4/10 performances week in week out and not being held accountable for it.

He's definitely a lot better going forward than he is defending, and lately he hasnt been great BUT, since he arrived he's been consistently one of our top performers and makes chances nearly every game. He must hate our current set up attack wise as he has nothing ahead of him.
Teams know to press early as if they can keep him in his own half he cant do any damage and the ball tends then to get recycled out right where it then breaks down.
We are so easy to defend against at Goodison that teams can nullify our main threats in Digne and James and let the others have the ball to waste.
He'll know he's been poor for a while but even a prime Bobby Carlos would look a turd in this set up.

One of the most overrated defenders I’ve ever seen, defender being the operative word.
When he does get forward most of his crosses are poor, takes an age to get back.
His corners are woeful and usually the first man heads it away.

I don’t think he suits a wing back, as he doesn’t seem to have to fitness or speed to get up and down. For 90mins As a left back, you pick and choose the times you attack.
but he’s a quality footballer, but like a few others he’s been out of form for a while
